The Many Faces of Terry Moore

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

terrymoore3Those who know me well will have no problem in guessing what it is about Terry Moore that has me the most captivated. “Fake Jan”

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

janGeri Reischl’s designation as “Fake Jan” came when she was cast to portray Jan Brady is the 1976-77 revival of The Brady Bunch series known as The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, a musical-variety show that has been voted one of the worst programs in the history of television. Truth be told, although the original actress Eve Plumb was loved far and wide in the role of Jan Brady, Geri probably had the most musical talent of any of the kids in the show. In addition, Carroll Spinney also voiced and operated Oscar the Grouch from within the trashcan – all the way back to his earliest days, when he used to be orange rather than green. Nancy Allen, Dressed To Kill

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

nancyallen1I don’t frequently hand out gushing compliments regarding a female celebrity’s attractiveness, unless I am sufficiently open-mouthed, all-out wow’ed. And Nancy Allen was just such an example of a gal who had what it took to make me stutter over my words. I found her throughly attractive at age 58…and I told her so. She seemed genuinely grateful for the compliment and told me sincerely that it was a ‘very nice thing to say’ to her. Read the rest of this entry »
