My cousin Debby recently moved from Miamisburg into Beavercreek with her boyfriend Mike. Its nice now that they are much closer, and hopefully this will result in additional parties and visits to one another. On Saturday, May 5, they were having their second cookout that I have been invited to since she moved in. This time there was plenty of notice as this party was in celebration of her receiving her Masters degree in Science in Education as an Intervention Specialist from the University of Dayton.
Wednesday, March 21st was a special day for us in Myrtle Beach. It was Ashleigh’s 17th birthday. I still am in shock that I now have a daughter old enough to legally get into rated R movies! I had purchased a Funfetti cake at the store and my Mom baked it that morning. Then after eating lunch in the condo and snapping our family photos in front of the pond, we headed out for a day of fun and frolicking in the sunny city.
