Sean Young

Sean Young has had a wide and varied film career, starring in many that I have enjoyed over the years. Perhaps most notable is her part of Rachael opposite Harrison Ford in the cult classic sci-fi thriller Blade Runner – a film that I first saw after our meeting. But I had seen her in several films before our encounter at the Hollywood Show in Burbank, on Saturday, April 24, 2010. I had been very disappointed back in
Of all of the celebrities whom I met on September 25, 2010, at the Hollywood Celebrity show in Chicago, I’d have to say that Tim Kazurinsky was the friendliest. He is probably best known as being a repertory cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1981-84, doing a wide variety of characters and celebrity impressions. He really seemed to be in his element when performing a crotchety old man such as Mr. Robinson’s (played by Eddie Murphy) landlord. One of my personal favorite roles of that of Pa Greavy in the John Belushi/Dan Aykroyd under-rated vehicle Neighbors.
I was pretty darn thrilled to have met one of the Monkees when I first saw
William Sadler was charging an additional $10 to get a picture with him after buying an autograph for $20 – and I didn’t care for that proposition. In fact he was on my ‘solid maybe’ list to even pick up his signature at all while he was making an appearance at the Chiller Theatre Show in Parsippany, New Jersey on Saturday, October 30. Perhaps he thought he could merit this exorbitant amount of money because he was one of those Star Trek people, having portrayed Luther Sloan in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. He had a few other notable roles as well, in such fine films as The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and Hard To Kill.
