2009 Is Not Cooperating

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

feb1I would so love to be reporting that 2009 has smiled down upon me in an abundance of health and prosperity, but so far that just hasn’t been the case. My job on this website is to merely chronicle the events in my life and call them as I see them. I understand perfectly that some of the ‘bad luck’ I’ve experienced so far this year pales in comparison to many of those who are less fortunate. Nightmare in Burbank

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

After many years of drooling over the mental images and speculation of what could be found inside Club 33, I finally got my chance to enter its doors on October 8, 2008. The Many Autographs of Winnie the Pooh

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

pooh1.jpgIt all began with a great lobby card reproduction from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day. I’ve always had an affinity for all things Disney, and Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorites. So the first signature that I collected was from Jon Walmsley, who was the voice of Christopher Robin in this particular short film. Others would eventually voice the part in the various shorts, but Walmsley was the first (The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh feature film was an amalgam of several short subjects).
