Arriba!
Monday, July 2nd, 2012I’ve never quite fully understood the intricacies of the relationship between the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling and I’m sure none of you do either. So while Wikipedia might state that Mexican wrestling star Tito Santana was wrestling with the WWF from 1979-1993, there is no question that I saw him wrestling both on TV and in person with Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1982. Knott’s Berry Farm 2012

At the core of this Beach Boy genius is one particular Beach brainiac named Brian Wilson. You might recall my chance meeting with him back in 2008, but up until now I had never seen him perform in person. Read the rest of this entry »
Siegfried & Doc
Tuesday, June 26th, 2012I had possessed a signed photo of Bernie Kopell for quite some time; my friend Bob had gotten it for me at one of the Hollywood Collector Shows in the late-1990’s. Bob had also filled me in that he wasn’t the most pleasant guys. All I needed from him was a picture taken with me, but with Bob’s warning, I wasn’t counting on trying to finagle a free one. I thought my chance might come to meet him at the Hollywood Show in February of 2011, but alas, the Love Boat reunion that was supposed to take place was ‘postponed’. Read the rest of this entry »
