I just had to share these ultra-cute photos of Ashleigh as she first manages to pull herself up in standing position. Although I have nothing to date these pictures exactly, Ashleigh looks to be about six months old give or take, so the gathering may very well have been my 19th birthday, or possibly just an early fall visit from Dad for dinner. I look pretty slick with my Depeche Mode shirt, orange knickers, and fresh new mullet. Ashleigh on the other hand looks as cute and cuddly as can be. Read the rest of this entry »

So, you may be asking yourself, what exactly was Brad up to during the Spring months of 1972? Well, I was defintely too young to ingrain any of my shenanigans onto a readable section of my inner brain. But fortunately, my Mom kept a Sweet Baby Days keepsake and memory jogger. It indicates that in the March of 1972 I first began to sit steadily about and creep (doesn’t that ever sound sinister?). It also indicated that my top four teeth came in at six months. Speaking for myself, I was pretty exhausted by the time we arrived at Epcot Center via bus from the Disney-MGM Studios at about 1:30pm on Tuesday, September 25. It wasn’t long before I was trying to figure out how to conserve my failing energy sources by finding the routes whereby we could take the least amount of steps. And besides, I have to say, Epcot just isn’t the same as it used to be. In fact, Epcot most certainly is the park that least resembles itself in its grand opening stage. Gone now are the bulk of the animatronic rides, the ones that really defined Epcot in my mind. I guess I’m just a sentimental old sap.
