1980 Diary Part 2

Continuing with my diary from 1980:
January 16: After school we went to the Library and got a “Our Gang” book.
–I don’t even need to mention how significant this is. My interest in Laurel and Hardy and Our Gang was not only flourishing at this point, but I was actually reading research material on them at the age of eight! Read the rest of this entry »

I can’t make too many observations about 1970 because no matter how you work the math, I wasn’t in existence yet. But in order for me to be conceived and born, fate had to bring my parents together at least for a few minutes. Actually, it was considerably longer than that.
When you last heard about the Georgia trip from this Summer, Bob, Ashleigh, and I were staying at the Plains Historic Inn. On Sunday morning, July 9, we got up early and headed just up the road about a mile to the Maranatha Baptist Church.
