The Wheels of Motion

I can’t make too many observations about 1970 because no matter how you work the math, I wasn’t in existence yet. But in order for me to be conceived and born, fate had to bring my parents together at least for a few minutes. Actually, it was considerably longer than that.
They met in October 1969 at CYPC, a Catholic Young People’s Club (usually referred to simply as ‘the club’). Although my Dad wasn’t Catholic, he was brought along by his friend Frank to attend an event. My Dad initially began dating a girl named Mary that he met at the club before meeting my Mom.
