Denizens of Twin Peaks – Part 2

Continuing on with the great Twin Peaks cast reunion from the Hollywood Show on Saturday, October 9, 2010, are the final three cast members of the show. (See the other major posting here). One of the most enigmatic of all of the characters in the show was the Log Lady, who had propensity for carrying and communicating with – yes, you guessed it – a log. She actually had a name in the show – it was Margaret Lanterman – but fans of Twin Peaks just knew her best as the Log Lady. Read the rest of this entry »

Q of Hearts

Sometimes certain celebrities fall into the ‘just because’ category. They don’t particularly mean that much to me, but for some reason the idea of getting an autograph from and photo with them just sounds appealing. Maybe it’s because the value of $20 is getting less and less to me. Who knows? But in this particular case, pop performer Stacey Q fall into this category. She was there, present, and accounted for at the Hollywood Show on April 24, 2010, so I went ahead and got  an autograph from her. Read the rest of this entry »

Thanksgiving 2010

I wasn’t feeling particularly overwhelmed with surprise that Thanksgiving had come around again, but it did seem to sneak up quickly once we had entered the Fall sector of 2010. I played it low key, just hanging around the house alone, watching some 30 Rock, and working on my xtranormal videos (more on that later). Christi had picked Briana the night before and they were staying at my house, but they had all left first thing in the morning to head to Thanksgiving feasts with their Nana and Big Daddy, each with separate meals.
