clerks3OK, actually he was. At least he was supposed to be at the Chiller Theatre event in Parsippany, New Jersey on October 27, 2012. But he would stand by the fact that he wasn’t supposed to be at the Quick Stop in another city in New Jersey. If all of this lingo means nothing to you, then you’ve probably never seen the low budget 1994 black and white flick Clerks that put director Kevin James on the map and made Jay and Silent Bob household heroes. Actor Brian O’Halloran was supposed to be here at Chiller and I took advantage of it, having been disappointed to miss other autograph shows at which he appeared. Read the rest of this entry »

Disneyland 2014

cv23On Sunday, June 29, 2014, the time finally arrived to depart on my first week-long vacation of the year. It was hard to believe how long it had been since I had taken a full week off (although my friends never hesitate to tell me that it feels like I am always on vacation). This particular trip was to attend the 19th International Sons of the Desert convention in Hollywood, California. Further Growing Pains

gp1In the Winter of 2011, I was able to meet one-third of the Seaver family from the 1980’s sitcom Growing Pains. Two years later, I was able to tip my percentage to half of the cast. The date was April 20, 2013, and this time it was Jeremy Miller, who had played the part of Ben Seaver, who was peeking his head out to meet the public at the Hollywood Show in Los Angeles.
