Ashleigh and her steady beau Derek “Carrot” Lovejoy attened their Beavercreek High School Senior Prom on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The prom was again held at the Nutter Center as it was the year before. This time they went all out to celebrate the occasion of their final prom by going in on a limo with 16 other kids and having a spectacular dinner at The Grand Finale in Cincinnati. The theme of the prom this year was “An Night in Paris” and from all accounts they all had a swell time and then went onto The Hampton Inn by the Dayton Mall to crash for what was left of the night.
Christi and Joy came over in the afternoon to help Ashleigh get ready for her big night. Derek’s parents also came over to take photos of the cute couple and by 3:30, Derek’s friend Kyle showed up to indicate that it was now time to move on to Jamey’s for more group photos and then catch their limo.

The prom prefaced Ashleigh’s final week of high school at BHS. She passed with flying colors and now stands as an adult and graduate. Am I really that old??

It seems like Ashleigh went from 8 years old to 18 in a matter of a few months. I want to keep her a little girl, but you can see here she is indeed a beautiful young woman. Congratulations Ashleigh, and congratulations to Brad for being such a loving father.
