I consulted last year’s web posting to see exactly what date I had my 2006 newsletter prepared, and found that the date was December 18. So I shot for that date again…and made it! Ashleigh and I finished printing, folding, signing, stapling, and mailing them out that evening (also known historically as the day that my garage door opener stopped working and I had to plunk down a few hundred to have a new one installed). In truth, this could have been completed much quicker if I hadn’t procrastinated. After all, I merely had to pull photos from this site and then recap the events already covered here. Briana can also be to blame, as she delayed getting me her write-up until Sunday the 16th. She nearly backed out of getting it done at all – until I yelled at her.
I have no doubt that I will long remember 2007 as one of my favorite years ever. I did so much and had so much fun that, for the first time, I had to cut out lots of photos that I really would have liked to include in the newsletter. I ended up printing 50 copies – a far cry from the 125 or so that I would print back in the pre-website days. So for the benefit of those of you who did not receive a personally signed hardcopy (which means I didn’t get a card from you!) – here are the results of our labor:

By the way, for some reason it suddenly occurred to me way after this newsletter had been completed and mailed that I had mentioned in the “Brad’s Celebrity Encounters” section that I had had a ‘near miss’ with actor Christian Slater. It was actually in October of 2005 when I saw him – and not in 2007. If this is the only mistake I ever make in a Christmas Newsletter, it will be amazing.
And finally, a bonus shot – an outtake from our cover photo shoot taken on Thanksgiving day. Merry Christmas to all … and to all a swell night!

Are you attempting to get Mr. Eric, with the “Pull my finger” joke again?.. That is very lewd!

Next time you’re in Chicago let me know. I work 2 blocks from Millenium Park. Maybe we can get Marcia, Lee, and Dee to join. We can ALL go and point at the Sears Tower.
