"Is this a musical table?" - Paul, "Flirting with Disaster"

I always enjoy meeting former child actors – even if I’m not all that familiar with their work, as was the case with Eric Shea. Bob had told me that he had been waiting quite a while to get him to sign his material from The Poseidon Adventure, so he was happy that he had finally surfaced for a show. When I met him at the Hollywood Show on October 8, 2011, this was his second appearance there. This time he was present as part of the big Batman reunion going on at that show, since he had starred in a couple of episodes.

More notable to me was that he was one of the kids in the Lucille Ball / Henry Fonda feature Yours, Mine, and Ours. It was a photo from this film that I opted to have him sign. In addition, I later learned that he had played Tommy Jamison in The Brady Bunch episode Cindy Brady, Lady (as seen in the photo at the top of the posting). He had also starred in a couple episodes of Little House on the Prairie, the Disneyland anthology series, and had been in the Disney film The Castaway Cowboy.

It was a minor celebrity encounter, but one I enjoyed. He was a nice guy and was perfectly willing to pose for a photo with me for free.
